Program Requirements
Green DMV provides services that will not only give businesses a competitive edge by enabling them to market their business as a "green business", but also help to reduce the business' operating costs by implementing sustainable business practices and procedures.
Once businesses implement the low and no-cost recommendations that Green DMV provides through our sustainability assessment, the business qualifies to becomes a Green DMV Business Member. Green DMV business members:
1. Meet all Green DMV environmental standards.
2. Comply with Green DMV semi-annual evaluations to ensure that green practices and procedures are consistently being implemented and sustained.
3. Continue to take steps to promote conservation of natural resources, prevent pollution and reduce waste in the community. |
