4.22.10 - Washingtonian magazine’s May 2010 edition featured the great impact of GREEN DMV’s work and named GREEN DMV a recipient of their 2010 Green Award,  which honors those who protect the environment and teach others the importance of eco-friendly living.






1.12.10 - GREEN DMV attends a Conversation on Energy forum in Washington DC. On January 12th, Black Enterprise joined Shell Corporation and gathered some of the most progressive minds on energy to discuss policy, employment, and business opportunities.

There is a misconception that to be considered green, you have to invest large sums of money into costly retrofits. The founder of the African American Environmentalist Association, a Maryland based nonprofit organization, McDonald is passionate about increasing the participation of African Americans in the environmental movement by focusing on environmental policy matters from an African American perspective.
